Neil D. Schor, a lawyer with HHM and its predecessors for more than 30 years, passed away on Oct. 19, 2023. The firm is leaving Neil’s bio in place here for a time to honor the memory of our long-time colleague and friend.

Neil began practicing law in 1989 and focused primarily on public sector clients. He successfully represented the City of Youngstown and local governments throughout Ohio, mostly in defense of actions related to law enforcement. He earned a juris doctor from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 2018. 

Neil served on the boards of Leadership Mahoning Valley, Stambaugh Auditorium, the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation and Temple El Emeth. He lived in Liberty.
