Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell Attorneys Schedule Second Seminar On Oil & Gas Leasing
- October 6, 2010
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – To accommodate interest from local landowners, attorneys at Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell, Ltd., have scheduled a second seminar on oil and gas leasing in the Marcellus and Utica shales.
The second seminar is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 at the Dutch Village Inn, 150 E. State Route 14, Columbiana, following the previously announced seminar at 9 a.m. that day at the same location.
Admission is free to both events, but reservations are required and space is limited. Those interested can reserve a seat by calling (330) 744-1111.
Alan D. Wenger, a member at HHM, said the firm hoped to accommodate 150 attendees but received reservation requests from over 200 people.
“Some landowners are being rushed into signing general lease agreements written by energy companies,” Wenger said. “No one should sign any legal document about something this important without asking an experienced lawyer to closely address your specific situation. We’re looking forward to helping local property owners better understand the benefits and risks of these leasing opportunities.”
Speaking with Wenger will be HHM attorneys J. Bradley Allison and Christopher J. Baronzzi. All three are experienced in legal matters related to oil and gas leasing.
