Oil & Gas Attorney Gina Strickland Joins HHM

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell today announced the addition of attorney Gina L. Strickland to the firm.

Strickland joins HHM from Kenyon Energy LLC, of Oklahoma City, where she focused on real estate law in Ohio and West Virginia. Strickland’s practice will initially be concentrated on real estate matters for HHM’s oil and gas clients.

“Gina will build upon our depth in the oil and gas industry, bringing experienced legal analysis that will make an immediate and positive impact for our clients,” said Alan D. Wenger, chair of HHM’s management committee.

Strickland graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Youngstown State University, and received her Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich., where she also earned a masters in corporate law and finance. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

She served as editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law, conducted research and assisted with legal matters for Foster, Zack, Little, Pasteur & Manning in Okemos, Mich., and worked with the office of the Attorney General of the State of Florida.

Strickland has been active in community service, volunteering for youth in government programs and at Sparrow Hospital in Michigan. She lives with her family in Austintown.
