HHM Elects Youngstown Lawyer George Millich to Membership in Law Firm

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell Ltd., the region's largest law firm, today announced that George P. Millich, Jr. has been elected to membership (i.e., an owner) in the firm. With his addition, HHM now has 18 members.

Millich has practiced law since 2000 and focuses his practice on estate planning, tax law, probate administration and business succession planning. In the past two years, he has advised local companies on strategies for managing the impact of the federal Affordable Care Act.

“George's expertise has strengthened and diversified our firm,” said Kevin P. Murphy, chair of HHM's management committee. “We are pleased to welcome another young lawyer as a member of HHM, especially one with George's skills. Demand remains strong for counsel related to the ACA, estate plans, trust development, trust administration, wills, power of attorney and business succession plans.”

Millich was part of the HHM legal team from 2000-2002 before transitioning to banking. He served Youngstown-area trust customers for nine years at PNC Bank and its predecessor, National City Bank, most recently as vice president and trust attorney at PNC. He rejoined HHM in 2011.

Millich graduated magna cum laude with a juris doctorate from the University of Akron Law School in 2000. He earned, with honors, a master's degree in taxation from the University of Akron, after earning, magna cum laude, a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University.

Millich serves on the boards of the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp. and the Mahoning County Law Library Association, and is chair of the Mahoning County Bar Association's social committee. He is also a member of the Mahoning County Law Library Resources Board. He is a former president of the Mahoning/Shenango Valley Estate Planning Council. He lives in Austintown.
